Bespoke Metalwork
In addition to our wider landscape design and build work, we are creating bespoke metalwork components which add a special element to your project. We design and install panels, gates, trellises, firepits/fireguards and planters amongst other practical applications such as drain covers, balustrades, fences, cupboards and unique decorative garden features which enhance the overall composition of planting areas and layouts. We work with an Artist-Blacksmith and Metal Fabricators to bring your artistic visions to life in a range of finishes, and which compliment specific elements within each personalised project. Our designer Natalie utilises her conceptual and artistic skills to create pieces which are unique to each client’s needs and requirements.
Garden Ornaments
We design and create elements from steel which sit within your garden, and act as supports for climbers etc. By working with our colleague, Owen Phillips of ‘Gate Foot Forge’, (gatefootforge.co.uk), we are able to create bespoke pieces in a plethora of shapes, sizes, and detail, and which can be included in your landscape design scheme as unique sculptural focal points, which compliment the context and enhance the composition of your outdoor space.
Bespoke Metalwork Panels
Working the rusted corten decorative panels into this slate outdoor kitchen not only diversified the colour palette, but added points of additional intrigue within the scheme. The panels were set against a bespoke concrete mix into which was worked further complimentary colours. The panels are backlit which further enhances the silhouette of the foliage to create a striking contrast. The panels are designed to add movement to the solid, static nature of the walling work, by consisting of a delicate pattern based on vegetation and foliage. The firepit surround is made from brushed steel, which again emphasises the dynamic silhouetted artwork and brings the overall design together. We also designed and made cupboards to fit within the theme, all in collaboration with our metal fabrication colleagues.
